Krishna seats Okha on his lap and grants her wish, giving her father Banasura a son named Gayasur to continue the lineage. The poet Premanand closes the narrative with salutations to Shukdev, Parikshit, Ganpati, and Ranchhod, declaring the Okhaharan complete.

  4. 4 મારા બાપને એક દીકરો; તમે આપો રે ભગવાનજી; ભગવાને આપ્યો દીકરો, તેનું ગયાસુર નામજી.
  5. 5 બાણાસુરનો ગયાસુર વંસ ધારણહારજી; કહી કથા ને સંદેહ ભાગ્યો, પરીક્ષિત લાગ્યો પાય જી.

Translation

કથાની સમાપ્તિ વેળાએ સૌ 'જય જય શ્રી રણછોડ' બોલો. બધી વિધિ-વ્યવહાર પૂર્ણ કરીને કૃષ્ણ ત્યાંથી ઊઠ્યા, અને ઓખા-અનિરુદ્ધ માટે નવું મંદિર-ભવન બંધાવી આપ્યું. એક વખત શ્રીકૃષ્ણે ઓખાને પ્રેમથી પોતાના ખોળામાં બેસાડી કહ્યું, 'તું અમારી વહુ છે, જે જોઈએ તે માંગી લે.' ઓખાએ વિનંતી કરી, 'હે ભગવાન, મારા પિતા બાણાસુરને એક પુત્ર આપો.' ભગવાને એ વર સ્વીકારી બાણાસુરને પુત્ર આપ્યો, જેનું નામ ગયાસુર પડ્યું. આ ગયાસુર જ બાણાસુરના વંશને આગળ ધપાવનાર થયો. આ પ્રમાણે કથા કહેવાઈ, સઘળા સંદેહ દૂર થઈ ગયા, અને પરીક્ષિત રાજાએ શુકદેવજીના ચરણે મસ્તક નમાવ્યું. શુકજીએ આ મહિમાવંત કથા સંભળાવી આપણને પવિત્ર કર્યા. કવિ પ્રેમાનંદ ઇષ્ટ ગુરુદેવને આરાધે છે અને ગણપતિના ચરણે વંદન કરે છે. હે શ્રોતા અને વક્તા, કવિ હાથ જોડીને વિનંતી કરે છે કે સૌ ભાવ ધારણ કરીને 'જય જય શ્રી રણછોડ' બોલો. આ પ્રમાણે શ્રીમદ્ ભાગવત મહાપુરાણના દશમ સ્કંધમાં, શ્રી શુકદેવ અને પરીક્ષિતના સંવાદ રૂપે, મહાકવિ પ્રેમાનંદ રચિત ઓખાહરણ સંપૂર્ણ થાય છે.

At the conclusion of this sacred tale, let all proclaim: 'Victory, victory to Shri Ranchod!' Having fulfilled every rite and custom with care, Krishna rose from his place and, as a gift to the newlyweds, had a splendid new dwelling built for them there. On one occasion, Shri Krishna lovingly seated Okha in his lap and said, 'You are our daughter-in-law; ask of me whatever you wish.' Okha humbly requested, 'O Lord, please grant my father Banasura a son.' The Lord granted her wish, and a son was born to Banasura, who was named Gayasura. This Gayasura became the bearer and continuer of Banasura's lineage. With the telling of this story, all doubts were dispelled, and King Parikshit bowed at the feet of Shukadeva in reverence and gratitude. Shukaji, by narrating this glorious tale, has purified us all. The poet Premanand worships his beloved Guru and bows at the feet of Ganesha. With folded hands, the poet entreats all listeners and narrators alike: hold this story in your hearts with devotion and joyfully proclaim, 'Victory, victory to Shri Ranchod!' Thus concludes Okhaharan, composed by Premanand, drawn from the tenth canto of the great Shrimad Bhagavata Mahapurana, in the form of the dialogue between Shri Shukadeva and Parikshit.

इस पावन कथा के समापन पर सभी 'जय जय श्री रणछोड़' का उद्घोष करें। सभी रीति-रिवाज और विधि-विधान भलीभाँति पूर्ण करके श्रीकृष्ण वहाँ से उठे और ओखा तथा अनिरुद्ध के लिए एक नया भव्य मंदिर-भवन बनवाकर उन्हें भेंट किया। एक बार श्रीकृष्ण ने ओखा को स्नेहपूर्वक अपनी गोद में बिठाकर कहा, 'तुम हमारी बहू हो, जो चाहो माँग लो।' ओखा ने विनम्रतापूर्वक निवेदन किया, 'हे भगवान, मेरे पिता बाणासुर को एक पुत्र प्रदान कीजिए।' भगवान ने यह वर स्वीकार किया और बाणासुर को एक पुत्र मिला, जिसका नाम गयासुर रखा गया। यही गयासुर बाणासुर के वंश को आगे बढ़ाने वाला हुआ। इस प्रकार कथा पूर्ण हुई, सभी संशय मिट गए और राजा परीक्षित ने शुकदेवजी के चरणों में मस्तक झुकाया। शुकजी ने यह महिमामयी कथा सुनाकर हम सबको पवित्र कर दिया। कवि प्रेमानंद अपने इष्ट गुरुदेव की आराधना करते हैं और गणपति के चरणों में प्रणाम करते हैं। कवि हाथ जोड़कर सभी श्रोताओं और वक्ताओं से विनती करते हैं कि भाव-भक्ति के साथ सब मिलकर 'जय जय श्री रणछोड़' बोलें। इस प्रकार श्रीमद् भागवत महापुराण के दशम स्कंध में, श्री शुकदेव और परीक्षित के संवाद के रूप में, महाकवि प्रेमानंद रचित ओखाहरण यहाँ सम्पूर्ण होता है।
