કુંવારી કન્યાઓની ગોરીમાતા પૂજા Unmarried Girls Worship Gorymata कुंवारी कन्याओं की गोरीमाता पूजा
Two unmarried girls, Okha among them, discuss the ritual worship of Gorymata (a folk goddess) to obtain a worthy husband. They ask for clay idols to be made so they can perform the puja, and describe the specific dates—from the second day of bright Phagun to the third day of bright Chaitra—for installing and removing the deity. The canto details the offerings required: a bed, flowers, rice, and other precious items for the worship and aarti.

Translation
એક કુંવારી છોકરી બીજી કુંવારી સહેલીને કહે છે: 'સહિયર, મારી વાત સાંભળ — આપણે બંને કુંવારી છીએ, તો ચાલ ગોર્યમાની પૂજા કરીએ, જેથી આપણને સારો નાથ મળે.' પછી તે પૂછે છે કે ગોર્યમાની પૂજા કયા મહિને અને કયા દિવસે થાય છે, અને વિનંતી કરે છે કે કોઈ તેના માટે ગોર્યમાનાં પૂતળાં બનાવી આપે, જેથી તે પોતાની માતા સમાન ગોર્યમાની પૂજા કરી શકે. ફાગણ સુદ બીજના દિવસે ગોર્યમાનું સ્થાપન કરવાનું હોય છે, અને ચૈત્ર સુદ ત્રીજના દિવસે તેમનું ઉત્થાપન કરવામાં આવે છે. પૂજામાં સુંદર શય્યા અને પથારી બિછાવવામાં આવે છે, સંદેશરનાં ફૂલ ચઢાવવામાં આવે છે, આરતી ઉતારવામાં આવે છે, ચોખા અને ચોડ ધરાવવામાં આવે છે, અને બીજી અનેક અમૂલ્ય વસ્તુઓ ભક્તિભાવથી અર્પણ કરવામાં આવે છે.
A young unmarried girl calls out to her unmarried companion and says: 'Listen, dear friend — you are unwed and I am unwed, so let us together worship Gorymata, and through her grace we shall each find a worthy husband.' She then asks on which month and which day the worship of Gorymata is to be performed, and earnestly requests that someone make clay images of the goddess for her so that she may offer her devotion to Gorymata as she would to her own mother. The ritual of installation is to be performed on the second day of the bright fortnight of the month of Fagan, and the immersion and conclusion of the worship takes place on the third day of the bright fortnight of Chaitra. For the puja, a fine bed and bedding are lovingly arranged, flowers of the sandesar plant are offered, aarti is performed, rice and choda are presented as sacred offerings, and many other precious and cherished items are dedicated to the goddess with heartfelt devotion.
एक कुँवारी लड़की अपनी कुँवारी सहेली से कहती है: 'सहेली, मेरी बात सुन — तू भी कुँवारी है और मैं भी कुँवारी हूँ, तो चल हम दोनों मिलकर गोर्यमाता की पूजा करें, ताकि हमें अच्छा पति मिले।' फिर वह पूछती है कि गोर्यमाता की पूजा किस महीने और किस दिन की जाती है, और विनती करती है कि कोई उसके लिए गोर्यमाता की मूर्तियाँ बना दे, जिससे वह अपनी माँ के समान गोर्यमाता की पूजा कर सके। फाल्गुन शुक्ल द्वितीया के दिन गोर्यमाता की स्थापना की जाती है, और चैत्र शुक्ल तृतीया के दिन उनका उत्थापन किया जाता है। पूजा में सुंदर शय्या और बिस्तर सजाया जाता है, संदेसर के फूल चढ़ाए जाते हैं, आरती उतारी जाती है, चावल और चोड़ा अर्पित किए जाते हैं, और इसी प्रकार की अनेक अमूल्य वस्तुएँ श्रद्धाभाव से माता को समर्पित की जाती हैं।
