Okha begins to describe her dream, saying that the land of Saurashtra is so beautiful and she has long yearned to behold it. There lies the great ocean of Ratnakar and the sacred river Gomati, and it is there that Lord Ranchod — Krishna himself — reigns in glory. Saurashtra is a wondrous land, she says, and one whose life passes without climbing the fortress of Girnar or bathing in the holy waters of the Ganga and Gomati has truly wasted this human birth. In that blessed land, vines and banana trees flourish, and devoted pilgrims carry Gangajal in vessels, accompanied by priests and attendants, to offer at the feet of Lord Hari. The refined and devout people of Saurashtra conduct their daily lives in service and devotion to God, and to all those who dwell in that sacred city, Okha offers her deepest salutations again and again. Then, with wonder in her voice, she tells of what she saw in her dream this very night — she saw a wedding procession from Saurashtra arriving, and she understood that Jadavray, the Lord of the Yadavas, had come to solemnize her marriage. In that same dream she saw the brave kinsmen and companions of Haladhara — Balarama — gathered together. And most wondrous of all, she saw in her dream a beautiful young man, her destined husband and lord, who was half-asleep and half-awake — and at that vision, Okha's heart swelled with longing and joyful anticipation.

ओखा अपने स्वप्न का वर्णन करते हुए कहती है कि सौराष्ट्र देश कितना सुंदर और मनोरम है, और उसे वहाँ जाकर उसे देखने की बड़ी लालसा है। वहाँ रत्नाकर सागर और पवित्र गोमती नदी है, और वहीं भगवान रणछोड़ — श्रीकृष्ण — राज करते हैं। सौराष्ट्र देश अत्यंत सुंदर है, किंतु जिसने गिरनार के गढ़ पर चढ़ाई नहीं की, जिसने गंगा और गोमती में स्नान नहीं किया, उसका यह जन्म व्यर्थ चला गया। उस धन्य भूमि पर लताएँ और केले के वृक्ष लहलहाते हैं, और भक्तजन गंगाजल भरकर, भट्ट और सेवकों के साथ, भगवान हरि के चरणों में अर्पित करते हैं। सौराष्ट्र के सुशील और भक्तिभाव से भरे लोग प्रतिदिन भगवान की सेवा में लगे रहते हैं, और उस नगर में रहने वाले सभी जनों को ओखा बारंबार प्रणाम करती है। इतना सब कहने के बाद ओखा बताती है कि आज रात स्वप्न में उसने सौराष्ट्र से आई एक बारात देखी, और उसे लगा कि जादवराय — यदुवंशियों के स्वामी श्रीकृष्ण — उसका विवाह कराने स्वयं पधारे हैं। उसी स्वप्न में उसने हलधर बलराम के वीर बंधुओं और साथियों को भी देखा। और सबसे अद्भुत यह कि उसने स्वप्न में एक सुंदर वर, अपने भावी पति को देखा — जो आधे सोए हुए थे और आधे जागे हुए — और उस दृश्य को देखकर ओखा का हृदय उत्साह और प्रेम की उत्कंठा से भर उठा।
